Photographic Meditations on Color and Shape

Desktop publishing focuses primarily on the technical aspects of composition, page layout, and digital file preparation that brings together the elements of design. Miksang photography looks beyond or outside the composition and focuses on the shapes, the colors, and the feelings evoked by those elements. Developed as a form of meditation, this type of macro photography can also be a means of inspiration for all types of designers. This gallery showcases some of my own photography. These particular photos were taken at times when I wasn't trying to photograph any specific item or scene. I was just grabbing my camera and going somewhere to photograph whatever shapes and colors caught my eye.
